WHAT IS PUNGWOLJU WTF IS DIS WEABOO ISH?
Okay, this took some reasearching because I didn’t know either. Apparently, pungwolju were leaders of the hwarang, which literally means ‘flower boys’, and were of the Silla kingdom in ancient Korea. After debating whether or not to call this “flower boy leader”, or “hwarang leader”, I decided that I’d keep the original Pungwolju name, because that’s what it is. When brought to America, it’ll probably be renamed something like Ancient Leader or something. But personally, I like this, and the fact that so little is known about the Silla kingdom is pretty interesting to me, so yeah.
